Aubergines are amazing slow cooked or grilled on a high heat. Although aubergines can be bought in most supermarkets all year round they are the best in August. Whether you love aubergines or have never tried them before our delicious aubergine (brinjal – the Indian name) pickle is sure to be your favourite way to eat aubergine! Use our pickle as an accompaniment to a meal, dip or spread to liven up your sandwiches.

After weeks of miserable rain we are all glad to see the sun shining and temperatures rising. Having the sun come out makes me want to dash straight to my BBQ set and start grilling.
